It's a beach with an extraordinary bay, white sand, blue waters of different shades, mangroves of various species, and its famous mushroom-shaped rock formation.

According to historian Sealtiel Enciso Pérez, the most common version of the site is that a boat, a type of sloop, ran aground there until it was destroyed over time. It was placed there by the people who arrived at the site in the 19th century.
